In Loving Memory of Chris Tinios May His Memory Be Eternal Christos "Chris" Emanuel Tinios of Carmichael passed peacefully at home on Monday, May 16, 2017 of respiratory failure related to a brain tumor. He was 89 years old. Chris was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on December 22, 1927 to parents John and Anna Tinios. Chris was the middle of three sons. Chris married his lifelong love, Angie, on June 3, 1956 in Chicago, IL and took his bride home to San Bernardino, CA. They had three girls before moving to the Sacramento area...

In Loving Memory of Chris Tinios May His Memory Be Eternal Christos "Chris" Emanuel Tinios of Carmichael passed peacefully at home on Monday, May 16, 2017 of respiratory failure related to a brain tumor. He was 89 years old. Chris was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on December 22, 1927 to parents John and Anna Tinios. Chris was the middle of three sons. Chris married his lifelong love, Angie, on June 3, 1956 in Chicago, IL and took his bride home to San Bernardino, CA. They had three girls before moving to the Sacramento area in 1965. Chris is survived by his wife Angie; daughters Christine Lovett, Joan Klipsch (Anthony), Katherine Tinios-Rose (Robert); grandsons Stephen Lovett and Michael Klipsch; brother Nick Tinios (Olga). Chris retired after 30 years in civil service having worked in Air Logistics Management at McClellan AFB and in aircraft maintenance at Norton AFB. He was a member of the Sons in Retirement, had a passion for golf, and was a founding member of St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church where he served with his full heart and generous soul for almost 28 years. Chris was loved by many who will never forget his sweet spirit, bright intellect, and magnificent laugh.
Services will be held at St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 Stone Canyon Drive, Roseville, California 95661.
Trisagion service: Monday, May 22, 2017 at 7 pm, and Funeral service: Tuesday, May 23, 2107 at 10 am, officiated by Rev. Dr. Christopher Flesoras.
